If I remember right from the manual they should be on the outer holes

No, I have double checked, it definitely on the second one away from center of servo arm. However, I have checked Trex500 flybar version, on this particular model, the ball linkage is on the outer holes.

I guess may be this is due to the different mechanical on FBL and FB.

I am posting to thanks Vic.P, Gingerr6, Mslater and tourerjim who helped and given me advice on how to setup correct pitch range.

I have finally setup the correct pitch range (+12 ~ -12) today. What I have done is taken the advice to shorten the three cyclic pitch rod, thanks very much for the above mentioned people who given me the valuable advice.
