With all the fuss about the beast X, but it's non-availability, and considering some of the really cheap 2nd hand prices of the Align 3G, I am curious; How much difference is there?
One thing I remember from previous discussions is that it seems most people feel the Beast X tail gyro is better than the 3G (which I think is the same as the 780 if memory serves).
But the bottom line being, is it worth waiting / paying more for the Beast X?
Is it much better to use the internal tail gyro in the 3G vs using a separate gyro?
I'm just thinking it would be interesting to try converting one of my 450s or possibly the Ely.Q and I am seeing the 3G units pretty cheap 2nd hand. But the main point being, if it would just be frustration and perhaps even a potential crash then it would be a false economy and the Beast would be worth the wait and more dough.
