    Hi Aidi

Its a tough call as yours does fly so well but from what i have been reading and now seen and after speaking to Andy(acwman) about his today i think its a worthwhile thing to do.

It really is dead simple, takes 5 mins tops and you are flying again.

If you wanted to try it and dont want to buy the leads we could use mine at the field sometime.

The real test comes tomorrow when i test my 600LE and see how it is now with the Align blades.

Thanks Chris, it will be interesting to hear your findings on the 600 when you have flown it. Thanks again for the offer of the cable, ill see if i can find one tomrrow and if i get no joy if i could borrow yours that would be cool. Cheers Aidi

Just an update from today with my newly revitalised 3g`s

Firstly flew the 600LE OMG massive elevator bounce and aeileron too much more than on v1..Hmmm

Gain pots were back at 50% so turned them down to 11o clock and just as bad so onto the laptop and i turned the gains on both down in the software from 70% to 57%.

Much better, maybe a slight bit still there on elevator but only when really looked for, piro consistency is very good now, tail feels nice.Overall a vast improvement to the feel of v1.

Onto the 550,i had to turn the tail rotor gain and stop gain down in the software and remove delay.Tail is now pretty good well locked in piro consistency is very good and cyclic is awesome. No bounce at all on this one.

In summary, very pleased with both systems and the user interface.

Oh and the piro compensation works really well also(piro optimisation on V Bar) hands off piros on the spot are easy with the nose staying level and very little drifting off.

updated my 600esp to v2.1 today...
big elevator bounce...delay pots are being wound down now.

Strange though i had an oscillation in the heli on a forwards roll...sounded like i was doing a shaky sticks...

nothing in backwards stationary rolls....just the forward ones...

            anyone got any ideas..?

shame really cause i thought it would be great straight out the box...V1 was an easy set up for me.

This is what I had you will need to reduce the gains in the software screen forget the 2 pots on the unit set them at 12o clock and turn gain slider down on the relevent software screen this has a much more dramatic effect than fiddling with the pots

one thing I don't like is the need to keep unplugging the sensor and main unit connectors to do this these plugs are already poor IMHO so that's a crap idea compared to them having just put a mini USB port on the main unit

I have just a aquired another satellite ready v bar so will be fitting this to my 550 this coming week and I am gonna use the 3g in my scale model

ok will try that..but do you understand why it happens only on forwards flips and not backwards.?

Mine started doing exactly the same yesterday at MK Wayne.

Made it very difficult to fly and was noticed by everyone.

Have made some adjustments in the software as Chris mentions, Will be trying that this afternoon.

Its a case of finding what works best with your particular heli.

Thats it,the software is allowing the user to adjust and tune the system to the particular model.I think the software has given us all we need to do this.

I think Align have done a pretty decent job with the update but i feel there is more needed yet to get the system up to maximum potential i have no doubt this will come in good time.

                        Hey Tim

I dialed out the shaky sticks on forwards flips today. was mainly to do with delays i think...adjusted in software and fine tuned on the pots.

I still have a niggling tail drift though which bugs the hell out of me. on the floor it does not move at all. in the air drifts tail to the right nose left. very slowly mind..

Im going to try thinner gyro pad next to take away bounce in the pad,,,being electric i should have minimal vibration.

Then i will try changing the servo and horn....see if that works..

anyone else with tail drift on a 3G.?

                          Wayne.

Pull out the thick gyro pad and put in some very thin double sided tape.

It works on my 700 nitro fine so your electric should be ok.

will report back after i have chance to test fly.

Is it me being a bit thick, but on the screen that you can adjust settings, what are the little red squares on the adjustable parameter sliders?????

when you first load it they are the standard setting i think....or if you read in your 3g settings from your heli they show your original setting...

they act as markers so you can see where you started from.
