I wonder what price point they will come in at as they are promoted as suitable for 250/450 sizes for one and 250/500 sizes for the other. Could be intro FBL units and Align may bring out a unit that is suitable for 50/90+ sizes later

Yeah basically like spektrum BeastX. But compatible with futaba.

Judging by the socket with "Ant" near it and the compatibility with *both* spektrum and futaba won't it need a satellite "Ant"enna?

I think that you could add a sat to make it have larger range so possibly for use on 500+ sizes, but for futaba to make it larger you'd need a rx.

At least the cases are not chromed, so hopefully no static issues to reset the darn thing.
If they are cheap enough they might be a good though limited addition to the range?

Need a bit more detail to be certain on that one as S-FHSS can be full range, but the limitation they mention may come from only having one Spektrum satellite.

Also need to consider that Only the top and bottom end of the Futaba range support S-FHSS, so this is not going to work with an 8FG for example.

I thought the 8FG would work with S-fhss too?

But considering the limitation is also on the s-fhss version. I run full range rx's on my T8J and can't see why they can't make this full range! As if it was full range it would be a winner in my book!
