3GX changing from a Spektrum bind to Futaba

I was hoping you'd say it was second user and perhaps we'd uncovered an issue when a unit is bound to Spektrum Sats that it can't be returned to external receivers using any of setup parameters known to the public...

Very strange this 3gx has been working on spectrum dsm2 sats & on an sbus rx
yet it won't work on an ordinary futaba rx very weird.

So - Good news!

After chatting to the Robbe Techs it was decided I'd send the unit in for investigation, Robbe couldn't figure why it was doing what it did either so they kindly sent it back to Align who have just returned the unit to me saying it was a software issue and they've had to replace to CPU.

I've just refitted it to my 450DFC using the external 617 Futaba receiver and hey presto she works.

Had a couple of flights and its rock solid.

So many thanks to both Robbe, Align and everyone that made various suggestions in this post.

I have just posted regarding binding to separate receiver as I am having similar problems.No problem binding and flying with a single sat but I cannot get it to work with either of two Spektrum receivers I thought it was me but maybe not!
