That's what i want: 3-axis 360 deg proximity detection activated at 3 inches with a 'stop here' protocol.

I did build one once but heli was over a 4in rabbit hole...

Yes It wont get you out of trouble if your low down and being silly,
Where its a bonus is when your high up learning new moves and it goes bad, just knowing its there is a confidence booster and 9 times out of ten you don't need it. But that 1 time you did need it its saved you hundreds of pounds, don't listen to all the purists on here that had to learn the old way without the technology we have got now. Its something that you soon realise its a tool for learning and not a magic switch that will get you out of trouble every time. Its a no brainer mate .

The whole flight was 23s long and I would never hit the switch, I'm a fight it all the way to the ground, anything else is just chicken, so mine would have ended up the same way. I probably wouldn't have been laughing like a drain though
