Good news, I've now got my backlight mod working finally

With my version I chose to include a mini Toggle Switch so that I can turn the backlight On/Off. It works fine.

It's just a first rough working version. I'm glad it works, it cost me roughly around £16 with a bit of soldering.

Next steps are to tidy up the wires, get some thinner wires and re-solder, and install the setup into the DX7. Then mount the mini toggle switch, which will involve drilling the case of my DX7 arghh!
