Hi guys & gals,

Well I've been using the DX7 for a while now and it is great. The only problem is that it needs a backlight for the screen.

So after a bit of research and reading up I've decided on giving it a try.

My plan is to operate the backlight using a toggle switch so that I can light up the screen as and when I need it.

The following parts have been purchased and awaiting delivery:

- EL Panel (White) + Inverter
- Black & Red equipment wire
- 5V switching voltage regulator
- Mini toggle switch

I've see a ready made backlight kit available from dfxhobbies in the usa, but the $60 price tag is way too much.

So I thought I'd give it a try for myself. Stay tuned...
