Well, having opened up the box earlier today, I've marched on and done a bit more.

I stripped the head down in order to assemble it correctly:



In fairness to Align, almost everything had been correctly thread-locked except perhaps the parts that need it the most - the grip to feathering shaft fasteners.

So, having cleaned out all the holes and fasteners, I started the rebuild. Here's the head about halfway built:



As you will note, I've copied the manual and am signing off on the build as I go.

Having made up the linkage rods, here's the head pretty much complete:



The build thus far is pretty straight forward. I've not watched any of Finless Bob's videos as yet - perhaps I'll regret it later...
