Well, I thought I'd run another build blog on the 450SEv2 that my good lady bought me for Christmas. Being as it's not a large model, in the big picture of things, it shouldn't take too long nor be too wordy.

Furthermore, it may lack the interest of the 500 build as it's not the newest model on the block! As such I won't go on too long!

I bought the kit from Dennis at Sussex Model Helicopters at a price I really couldn't refuse - £125. Having used the web browser on my E71 to seek the advice of the good people of this forum, I "pressed buy" and promptly gave it to my wife to stow away for Christmas.

Well, Christmas has been and gone so here we go!

On opening the outside cardboard box I was pleasantly surprised by the little flight box that the kit was contained in:

And, on opening the flight box, everything necessary had been shoe horned inside:

So, it was time to pull out the contents and, on doing so, I found that much of the kit has been pre-assembled. Trust me, that lot's going to be dismantled, cleaned, Loctite/CA applied and re-assembled properly.

I reckon it's time to head into town and get me another log book!
