Wow!
£80
Why don't I ever unearth gems like this?
Dont listen to the doom & gloom merchants this was a nailed on bargain! I've seen older models than this in worse condition change hands for well over £2000!
Not that you'd want to sell it, why would you? A rock solid reliable trainer like this at a knock down price only comes along once in a lifetime. As a learner I don't think there's a better machine out there, apparently DJI used the Graipner A109 as their benchmark for "hands off" stability so it's ideal if you're learning circuits and basic 3D.
The real beauty of them is their crash resistance, they're almost like the smaller Eflite range in as much as if you can hit TH and you're no higher than 100ft you can pretty much pull the blades straight & go again. If you do suffer any breakages though the spares supply network is first class, they've even started stocking a full range in my local Tesco express. But don't let their legendary stability fool you into thinking they're not a fully fledged 3D Smackmissile cause you'd be wrong. Ramp up the HS to about 3k RPM (those wooden blades come alive at that speed) and let it rip, even the most advance manoeuvres are a doddle especially if you snip the paddles off with a pair of side cutters. A beginner at my club went from basic circuits with a Trex 700 to figure 8, looping pirofunnels in a couple of hours on the same day he converted from mode 2 to mode 1, that's how good they are!
In my view you paid as much for this as you would any 2nd hand Sim and this is a far better learning tool that will only appreciate in value.
