I've recently been presented a great opportunity overseas so am in the process of thinning the fleet down a little, as I can't take everything with me and the cost of storage is expensive. There is some really juicy kit up for grabs... One such thing being my logo 550sx. I think this is the best helicopter I've ever owned; its simply faultless.
You may ask, then why I am I selling it? Well I only have space for one machine and in truth my flying has evolved to be better suited to larger machines. Rest assured, this thing is awesome.
Its kitted out with some high end electronics and truly is plug and play:
- Kontronik 80HV esc
- Mikado Current Sensor
- Kontronik 650-103L motor (awesome!)
- Mod 1 Gear
- 14t pinion (iirc)
- Futaba Bls 451/251 servos
- Edge tail blades
- Rail mains
- Opti backup guard
- additional rpm sensor so you get live rpm data in the vcontrol
- additional frame stiffeners
- QuickUK swash
Spares:
Whilst digging around the shed today I found a spare tailboom and drive belt. These will be included.
I also found an old align 550 bag that i used to use to transport it. There is some damage to the zip but will include it in the sale if collecting FOC.
There are only two little things to mention.
1. I had a crash a long time ago and cracked the left hand frame. I thought I'd experiment with some cyno and it's been fine ever since!
2. There is some mild flaking on the underside of the canopy, but nothing too serious.
I have tried to take some decent pics as I always think this helps show a models condition. There is a dropbox album here
For all of this I've priced it aggressively at £650 shipped. I know I can get more splitting it but there is so much other gear to get through I really don't have the time.
