    Help

I have for sale a Bergen intrepid ( same as magnum but shorter boom.

It's as brand new having only done half a dozen flights max. I've been told that these are desirable to use as a base for a turbine Heli but have no real details.

It has NHP blades and an os 60 sx with a hatori pipe. The tail has a jr 8700 and futaba high end servos on the cyclic.

Can someone tell me what it's worth and or make me an offer. I'll post some pics later.

Can come with or without an engine and servos

The bergen intrepid can come as nitro, gasser or turbine. I'll admit I'm unfamiliar with the mounting variations for each of these and if that involves differing frames then it'd affect costs dramatically to convert compared to purchasing the correct variant.

They have a good rep as machines and ace support: Chris bergen responds to emails fast and is always helpful. It must have been underpowered with a .60 though..

I just found them on the rossmod site. Whoosh they're expensive. Id be interested in selling the whole airframe for less than the cost of a crash. Anyone interested.

Actually it flew fantastic as a sport machine. It'd never keep up with my 600efl pro but so graceful in the sky.

The frames are g10 so they're not that bad. Not quite align big production run prices bit still ok.

I had two Intrepid's and they are wonderful machines. Most were 23 or 26 cc gasser engines. A very nice heli to fly but I fear you will struggle to sell a nitro unless it is in tip top flying condition. I sold my last gasser a year ago for nearly £1000 but since then they have fallen out of favor, there is an all up good spec 26 cc gasser on eBay now and it has not got any bids.
          Hope this helps.

Thanks for the truth. This one honestly looks like its just been built. Its had less than half a dozen flights Would rather see it go to a good home rather than live its days out in the attic.
