Forgot to mention about the pair code.
When first connecting to BT adapter to the PC, select 'Do not use a Pair Code'
Once it is connected up and you select it in the Vbar software, a Windows popup saying 'A bluetooth device is attempting to connect'. Click the bubble and enter that pair code 1234.
