I know its maybe something most take for granted. However, the corner we've built to help were possible when issues of disputes arise between a buyer and seller has raised what I think needs attention.
I don't want it to be a golden rule as such but just common sense really.
So I want to just list below briefly what I would see as good practice for listing item/s for sale.
1. Clear descriptions on goods
2. Conditions of goods - New or Used (If the later please pay attention to how much use and its current condition, for example. OS50 Hyper 6mths old - heavy useage [flown every weekend] on 20% Magnum all parts from new)
3. Pictures of actual item or video ideally if heli - take as many pic's as possible or link to gallery on here or elsewhere.
4. If you have a price in mind then let us know or range
5. If postage know and payment formats preferred please say.
6. Mark an item sold by using the edit function and change the Thread Prefix to #SOLD# and then close the listing?
If a buyer recieves goods and feels they do not match the description
1. Talk with seller first - take pictures / video
2. Highlight area's for concern and give your preferred solution
3. Only once the above has been agreed then move on
4. Any issues should be raised as soon as possible any longer could be considered acceptance of goods as is.
Please let me know of any points you feel would help, then we can have it set as to what we all expect. Unlike eBay and alike were the quality control is lax to say the least, we can here atleast get some control to ensure that all get what they are expecting as a minimum. Not that its not working okay - just concious that as we get bigger its harder to control unless we're all in agreement.
Ulimately the site cannot be held liable for any sales that take place on here, but we can do is to try and make it that all use the above as much as possible if not all of it to ensure that each party in any transaction is more than happy.
Views and opinions welcome.
