Is the AR600 DSMX/DX7 conversion

Are there two versions of the AR600? Some seem to be DSM2 only and others support DSMX? I'm thinking of converting my DX7 to DSMX as the more I think about DSM2 the more ways there seem to be for it to go wrong. Has anybody converted theirs? Do you get new menus and an option to switch from DSM2 to DSMX?

The ar600 is both dsm2 and dsmx if you convert the dx7 I believe you get a choice in the menu on the tx

I think you'll find that only the DX8 has the menu option, anything else will just connect using the 'best' the rx can handle so that will be DSMX if it is a DSMX capable receiver.

All AR600 receivers are DSMX capable, just like all AR8000 and AR6255 even if they are not marked for DSMX on the case.
