Does anyone use an AR7110R or AR7100R and use the gov with a nitro?
I am trying to get the governor to go into calibration mode and I am totally stumped, I have tried everything I can think of, read the manual watched a Finless Bob video and nothing works. It will not go into calibration mode and the green ACT light NEVER comes on.
I have two AR7110Rs and after basically giving up with one I hooked up and bound the other one just to see if maybe one is defective but they both behave the same way. Soooooooo, I suppose it's possible I have two broken AR7110Rs but I'd think that is unlikely.
One thing that could be a factor is that I'm not using a switch, I just plug in the battery. But I really don't see how that would be any different.
----- update--- just read something on Runryder and it has to be bound in 11ms frame rate. I reset the TX to 11ms, rebound and then I was able to get the gov into calibration mode and it is now showing the green 'act' light as it should.

This one was so obscure that there's no way I would have just stumbled onto the solution because it was bound and everything worked as it should except for the governor so it was just pure luck that someone had discussed it on RR and that I managed to find that thread via a Google search (and previous searches had not picked it up). If not for that I would have had to try speaking with Spektrum / Horizon.
