Ar7200bx in other heli's

Can't seem to get a definitive answer but can the AR7200BX that comes with the blade X series(300,450 and 500) be used on other heli's simply by resetting the unit-or do you have to update the firmware to get rid of the blade profile?
Is the beastx usb interface the same as the spektrum item?

as for lead, there are two in production. so each one has a separate lead to suit beastx or ar7200bx

I have a BeastX USB dongle and lead which I use on my AR7200 no problem so they must both be the same but different branding and prices. Go figure...

I'm sure you can do a hard reset and just reprogram for you new model.

The Blade version of the firmware alters the default settings, so no need to replace it, just take care to set everything as you want it and don't depend on defaults being where you would ordinarily expect them to be.
