I fitted this to my tx yesterday and its perfect
you have to solder nine wires inside your tx and glue the little vibe motor to the inside of the case.
its well worth the effort though.
just make sure you disable the timer in the transmitter or it will over ride the new one and the throttle hold time stop wont work.
only 18 euros posted, really clear photographic instructions you cant go wrong.
it only took 5 days to arrive

It's technically a new radio and needs to be CE tested as such.
Insurance is sure to be invalid.

Been flying RC models for 30+ years now, and never needed a vibrating Tx so far. Don't think I need one in the future either.

I love the vibration function on my DX8. In fact I love the whole timer / vibe / tone arrangement. On the DX7 I would never remember to set the timer running and often when I did I didn't hear the tone buzzing when time was up.

All that said I wouldn't dream of fitting a vibrating motor into a box of elecronics that wasn't designed to take it!

Can I suggest that you ask your insurers - BMFA or RCHA, what their view is and then let us know?
