  • JR 11x Zero or DSX9

I am in the market for a new Tx. Its between the DSX9 and the 11X Zero.

I had the JR PCM9xii for 5 years and was well pleased with it (until I dropped it).

Anyone used he 11x? If so what do you think?
    James

DSX12. You know you want one, unless it's too heavy for you.

Probably it's better to go for the dsx9, it's well known unlike the 11x, it also does anything you will want really and is alot cheaper than the 11 or the 12

Anyone got any ideas why they have a modular version of the 11X and have not released the same integrated version as the US?

modular because dsm2 = spectrum specially permission because it does not follow the frequencies spesifications protocol? and jr want dsmj im guessing because if follows the frequencies spesifications is actually legal without special agreements. At any rate I got a 11x and wow, software wise it totally annihilates the futaba, protocol wise dsm2 vs fasst futaba annihilates the jr, atleast until dsmj. But god the feel of the 11x and the software makes me take the chance to chop my head off

DSX 12 is a cracking peice of kit. Definatly overkill but very nice really enjoy mine. JR will have to do a really good job on the next radio to tempt me to change

There are some nice features on the 11X. The software updates are a bonus and about time JR/MacGregor caught up with Futaba. I like the switch assignment too. I use a DSX12 at present and if it was my money I'd go with the 11X, but it really depends on how much you're willing to spend and what features you need or want. Read the spec of both and balance them against the price.
                        Good luck !

The only reason I want you to get the 11 is so I can have a look at it close up.

Have a friend using the 11 and he says it is a better radio than the 12
Better features and software, and cheaper even if it does look a little quirky
