XG8 Software update

Help anyone !!

Has anyone done a software update to their XG8 and its failed. I've done mine a couple of times before, no problems, but just tried to put in Ver 16 and now its completely dead

Any ideas on a cure

the same thing happen to mine to day going from ver 15 to ver 16
was all right up to the part the screen turns off, then you turn the power back on but nothing happen fuse and battery ok

Yes just the same as mine. Fortunately MacGregor here in the UK (the distributors) were excellent - although I had to return the TX to them to investigate, they told me they spoke to JR, and there have been issues upgrading to Ver 16 but they replaced the board at no cost and returned the TX in about 10 days

the distributor here in Australia has just told me mine is going back to Japan
also ver 016 has been removed from the JR Japan site now
