      I thought futaba never needed to update because they got everything right first time?....

        also waiting on the 14sg update as it apparently will add a few more bells/whistles. was due beginning of feb ish so can't be far away

          it is for future telemetery updates, GPS, voice commands set to timers etc, vibration alerts to what ever you want etc.

          at lease with Futaba we don't have to send it back for new fixes every 5 mins!!

            Good find. Just have updated mine, have to say that cover that you slide and pull out must be one of the most over engineered covers ever - not very sturdy though.
            Also must say this is my favourite bit of kit I have ever bought in this hobby - still amazes me.
