What you thinking, not sure there are any benefits. Would you be able to use a LiPo with a 2S being 8v fully charged, not sure you would. LiFe would work -

5 cell NiMh does fine for me. Last's for ages. They run down a bit quicker if you use telemetry all the time but then so does a LiPo.Graham
