ok, i have about 30 packs now since i got the 500 and many of them are too small for what i want. so i have 3x 3s 2100's sitting staring at me. my dx7 battery lasts about 30-40 secs after a full charge....mmmm...i think it's gubbed lads! you can see where this is going.
anyway one of the 2100 3s lipos does fit in the dx7...JUST, you do squeeze the case out a little but not enough to worry about. you will need to put ribbon round it to get the battery out again, it aint going to fall out thats for sure.
i soldered the original battery lead onto the actual pcb of the lipo. all fits wonderfully and should last many many phoenix and flying sessions.
i'd suggest putting a bit of fuel tubing over the charger socket if you sometimes use a wall charger, i will just balance charge mine with the cellpro so i have done this.
