only the 4 main channels are actually 2048 on futaba fasst rx's according to emails i got from futaba....pasted below.

    my mail-
hi there, can you confirm what resolution the 8ch fasst rx is please? there is contradicting reports on this with some saying it is 2048 and others saying it isn't. i've got a 14mz module coming and undecided on rx till i find out if the 8 has 2048 or not as the 14 is large for the model it is going in.

    cheers
    paul

Thank you for your recent e-mail.

If you use the R608FS receiver with the TM-14 module and have it set to multi-channel mode. You will have 2048 resolution on the four main channels just like the 14MZ.

does that mean if i use ccpm then the swash can have 2048? i.e ail, elev, pitch channels.

    cheers
    paul
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, as the pitch channel is controlled mainly by the throttle channel.

hi again, i'm sorry but what has throttle got to do with pitch? it is completely different and it is on ch 6 normally, so basically is ch 6 part of the grouping to get 2048? i assume it is but i was hoping for conformation and i'm sorry, but your last reply has conused me again?

Thank you for your recent e-mail.

On a CCPM swash plate setup, your pitch and throttle are both controlled by the throttle gimbal as are your elevator and aileron to a small percentage.

as i said, this was an email direct from the head of product/research for futaba.

All I know is the guy had to put in his new 3G receiver and the channels are no longer in the Futaba order we know of...

      It's all changed.

Lucky the 35mhz 12FG knows if your using an old PCM or PPM receiver so it still just works it out and you don't have to re-plug everything.

I have just noticed that the 10C is only 1024 resolution as apposed to 2048 for the 12FG.
The JR DSX9 is also 2048 and now that Spektrum have come up with ‘Quick Connect’, my confidence is restored and I think I’m going JR.
