    Transmitter data transfer.

    Just a quick question guy's.

    Can you transfer data settings (model settings) from a DX7 to another DX7 without the hassle of copying every setting over manually or can it be done via a cable with some sort of software.

    Also anyone know when I finally get a JR DSX9 can the settings be transferred from the DX7 to that tranny.

    no you can't
    there is no external access to the model settings (like a campac sort of thing).

    I think RC transmitters are lagging behind in technology in this aspect.

      Since my initial post I have found this thread in post number 9 from Scotty which says you can.

      Maybe someone knows something we don't.

        The DSX9 (PCM9x) does allow data transfer from other DSX9's (PCM9x's). However the DX7 has no ability to transfer model memories... and even if it did you couldn't send it to a different model of transmitter without some computer software to convert the settings..

          I think he just "beams" the data from tx to tx.

          I only have one tx at the moment.
