dx7 -> ar7000 binding problem

hi guys,

i've got problems binding my ar7000 i just bought...of ebay!! (thought i'd save a few pennies!)

well basically when i turn the rx on the LED's dont flash as they are supposed to! (yes the binding plug is in). they just stay solid.

this means it just wont bind!

any one got any idea wats going wrong here?

Have you got the binding plug in the battery slot and the battery plugged in any other
I tend to do mine this way as not all switches have the signal wire and wont work

yep battery goes into aux2 and bind plug is in the battery slot...

Sounds like its stuffed then send it back to horizon uk with a note saying its gone faulty they will prob fix it or replace it under warranty

Couple other thoughts..You do have the bind button pressed in on the TX?

Also your not so close that it could possibly be swamped although I'm not sure if that can happen when binding?

I would also try another Rx to confirm your TX/plug is binding as it should..JUST in case

AHAAAAAAA

just tryed it again on my dinning room table and success!...i had given the rx batt a little charge. this might have made the differents?
