ive had one failure due to my rx pack losing a cell. im sure most of the problems are user related rather than 2.4 ghz issues. i for one am happy with it!

at the end of the day its new technology and its going to take some time for it to fully mature.

im not even gonna look at upgrading until my 9x2 dies.

Ade. Straight question, You are obviosly still on 35mHz and have already made your point.

Have you tried and used 2.4gHz and as an expert pilot what did you think to it, Other than your statement about new technology.

im happy with my old ff7. it does everything i want it to do and more. never had any glitchs or interference with it so i'll keep using it.

would like a dx7 but its just more cash i havnt got at the moment.

no im not tight and i dont squeek when i walk - im just skint at the moment - couldnt even afford a graphics card that i was watching on fleabay and it only sold for £23.
              cheers

Mine has been very good to me but i accept that with several thousands of users out there in real world conditions, problems are likely to surface, whether its due to user error, poor power supply or suspect Rx`s.

i think we rely on so many pieces in the chain from fingertip to swashplate that any one of them is likely to fail,in my case its usually the fingertip

If I didn't fly a 450 size electric I'd still be on my 35mhz 7CAP. I had no issues with it on my .50 - but I had problems with my little electric.
I don't want to collect gear so sold all my 35mhz.

I can't help thinking that futaba have rushed a bit to get their FASST to market in the light of big sails of spectrum, and then JR working with spectrum.

If anyone is changing their AR7000, 6100 or 6200 to a new 9 channel becuase it has "fast start" - then I'm in the market for buying your old spectrum rx!

A also want to know if Aide has flown a DX7 ccpm heli and if he could feel any difference in the speed of response of the link. I'm guessing not.

Sticking with 35 at the moment, will upgrade whe funds allow.
-I don't crash, I just land with enthusiasm.

A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly

                    And a DX8 too

I'm on a FF8 at the moment, its been reliable, if I can afford it though, I will get a 12FG 2.4, after its been out for a while though.

Never had a problem with 35Mhz so far & I don't get the opportunity to fly enough to warrant the change. And anyway the pegboard is empty now everyone's on spectrum
