There is some info from Futaba 2.4 site and Futaba 7C FASST is listed also. So what is truth in this case? Ripmax says Futaba 7C is not faulty and Futaba says it is... hmm little bit confused.

It's because that 2.4ghz website is mainly for USA -- Ripmax is the UK importer of Futaba and the 7C FASST hasn't been released here yet. When it does come out (very soon) the "don't power off too quick after you turn it on" rule will still apply to it (as it will the TM-14 too) so I'd hope they update the warning as like you say it is a little misleading.
2) Each time that your transmitter is turned on, it is imperative that you allow the FASST system an adequate amount of time to thoroughly boot-up completely before shutting down the transmitter. The system requires at least five (5) seconds boot up time prior to turning off the power to the transmitter.
Following from that I just read (this), I fell that this is problem that is not going to get resolved as even if your TX is proved working at the shop it can still go faulty by turning on and off too quickly (which I always do with my Spektrum to change models). I fell that Ripmax/Futaba should recall these TXs which are affected as a matter of safety.

demon jim, just fyi you can't quickly cycle power on a 14mz anyway reguardless of the module as you need to allow boot up time. this is typically between 5-8 secs depending on whats on your mem card and the temp judging by my mz.
My local model shop has has a FASST receiver from Ripmax which is locked to a zero GUID code, to test a transmitter just select a blank model memory and if it locks on to the test receiver then your transmitter needs to go back to Ripmax. I'm sre I read that Midland Heli's have one too.
