Crystals?

Can you use a dual-conversion Rx crystal in a non-dual conversion Rx? (PCM 1024)

I would guess the otherway round would not work, but I have a spare D/C crystal but the Rx is not.

Bugger! Back to the shop

Have a quick check first to make sure.
Plug a Rx battery into a switch and then into the Rx.
Plug a servo into the receiver.
Insert crystal and switch on - surefire test

That's a good idea...but I really can't be arsed.
I need to get a couple of bits cos I've got some lessons booked with some hot-shot instructor in a couple of weeks, so I have to go to the LHS anyway. Don't want to look a complete prat on the day Don't know him do you???????

No they're completely built, but not in one piece

Seriously. Raptor 30 that has been totally reliable, and a Swift 16 that I love...since I sorted the crap stock motors...when I say sorted I mean threw the f****ing things away & replaced with an Axi...it's been my favourite to fly.
Century of course NEVER have problems with their motors. I must have been really unlucky to have three burn out!

No. this is a Trex 450 I bought off a friend and am SLOWLY sorting.

Delete "3D" "2D" at most. Swift 16, I think is a good lecky for my level.
