Took my heli for check over and first flight with Flyin Fish last night and Dave Fisher had the Spektrum Tranny on his lap (it was on) whilst he worked on the heli. He said "I have just worked out why the instructions say do not touch the Aerial"....his knee began to get quite hot! This is due to 2.4gh being the same frequency that Microwaves use to heat fluids.

So, dont rest the tranny on your "Crown Jewels"
The older I get, the faster I was!

    Just Learning!
    TREX 450SE
    Old Hirobo Shuttle
Twister CP (wont bother with that any longer)
Will be a Blitz Avro when I can fly safely

Handy, just take a cup of water and a tea bag with you to the field, dump your DX7 antenna in the cup, wait for the ping, and a Lurvly brew is all yours.
-I don't crash, I just land with enthusiasm.

A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly

    And a DX8 too

At 100mW, it is going to take it a long time to come to the boil.....!!!

No matter how much you push the envelope, it'll still be stationery.
