I've well over 600 flights on DX7 never had any hits.

Low voltage resets. Fromeco and Spektum offer a capacitor that prevents sudden voltage spikes causing Re-sets that can be used if necessary. Personally I'm running a Regulated system on my Nitro's

My own preference is for the dual link Rx's. The AR7000 being what I use. The 7000 is actually deceptively light..about 1/3rd of the weight of a standard 8ch Rx and even my Mini Titan doesn't notice it's there..

Glad this thread has surfaced again,i am still having zero problems..

      Martin

I run the 6100 on the 450V2 and its fine on the bec power supply from the esc,the 6200 is as good as the 7000 ..

I would use 6200`s on all models that require up to 6 channels and 6100`s on 450`s and foam planes

The DX6 is not compatible with the DSM2 Rx`s and has a shorter range

The new DX6i is full range and DSM2 compliant

the DX6i is the one i was gonna get with the blade 400 but i got a belt cp for now instead and glad i did but i need to get a good TX while i can. the DX6i isn't launched yet so its got to be the DX7. as far as i know the DX6i doesn't have any advantages over the 7.

Had mine 12 months now - never had a moments doubt - never been so relaxed when flying electrics.

Getting on for between 30 and 40 flights with a DX7 & AR6200 in my Mini T using stock ESC for onboard electrics. Not so much as a glitch so far (touches wood). Beginner, so hovering and slow figure 8s only so far.

I have been on Spektrum for about a year now (maybe a little longer), I have 9 Models on Spektrum and 3 on 35Mhz, the only suspected issues I had was with the AR6100 in my Trex 450, there was some unexplained crashes but since I got it swapped to the V1.2 it has been flawless, I have 3 models on AR6100 (V1.2) and 6 models on AR7000.

I want to move to Spektrum, but this lockout/Rx power supply issue is a worry to me.
                  I have a Trex450 on4S and the BEC is in a Jazz.

Anyone, know of any issue with the Jazz supplying watered down main Lipo power for the radio gear?

Not a problem Rick. I run 4s with a Jazz and a 6200 rx without any issues at all.
