Dx7 sold out till end of month?

I just rang inwood models, and they said the Dx7 is sold out, and that the main distributor will not get any more in till the end of the month (october)

Does anyone know who might have them in stock (mode 2)?

Sorry just panicked but it looks like the midland model center and midland helicopters both have them in stock (in mode 2).

It ****es me off that companys mis-inform you just so you wait to buy from them. Inwood told me "they are sold out all over the contry, even the disributors don't have any, and you will be lucky to find anywhere that does etc."

LOL told me the same thing about 3-4 weeks ago. That night I sources and bought one and had it delivered a week later.....
Salesmen will be salesmen.
There's also a DX7 in mode 2 in a little model shop in Camden....or there was when I popped in there a week ago....£20 more than most webshops though.....

any shop will tell ya theres a shortage if they havn't got any. the only thing is do the people that do have stock of them have them at the right price.

Well it's all about what are you willing to risk ?
You can save loads of money but as you do your risk increases of being ripped-off with seconds or returns or not getting a warranty etc. Also what premium will you pay to have it NOW! or can you wait a few more weeks want it new or can you get a second hand one nearly new... ? second hand *should* mean less 30-40% of new price (VAT at 17.5% and no warranty equates to 10-20% depending on reliability of article... hence 30-40%) usual things... you pays your money and you takes your choice I actually tend to plan way in advance for most things (which drives the wife crazy) so have the luxury of being able to take my time and shop around at leisure looking for the best price/deal.
