PCM9X and Rx

Hello,

I currently have a PCM9X which is used in my Skeadu and my 600N and works brilliantly with the supplied 9 channel Rx. I am now looking at getting a Trex 450 and now in need of a new Rx but i am wondering, do i have to get a 9 Channel Rx or could i get away with a 7 Channel Rx?. This ofcourse would be smaller and more lightweight but i am unsure if the 2 would be compatiable.

Any help would be appreicated.

A 7 channel JR Rx will be fine in the 450,,thier small PCM synthesised one would be ideal,i think its the JR770....

All JR receivers of any amount of channels under 9 of course will work with the 9X

770 Would be my choice aswell, great rx.

in a lot of cases PCM doesnt seem to handle small electrics too well. your better to go with something like the schulze or hyperion 8 channel "DSP" rx. its PPM but has digital signal processing to clean the glitches out of it.

I've used 770's on my Trex's with no problems. Just switched over to 2.4Ghz so I have a couple available for sale if anyone is interested.

I had a 770 in my mini t til' recently with no problems, now gone 2.4ghz.

Just orderd a New 450SE v2 with all the bits and a 770 Rx.

I am going to upgrade to 2.4Ghz at some point just waiting for JR to get going .
