My DX6i did the same thing when a potentiomiter was faulty.

Now you have recalibrated it you should check that everything is still correct in the monitor screen every so often to make sure its not drifting any more.

If it keeps going out of calibration send it back to Horizon and they will fix it for free.

Its an unusual fault on the DX7 as it has better quality pots than the DX6 but its worth keeping an eye on.

I find myself asking why this is actually an issue. On setting up my heli I just go to the pitch and/or throttle curve menu and set the stick in whatever position the menu reads 50 in 50 out. That way you know you are dead centre stick.

I would not want to rely on any other "line of sight" marks on the Tx to judge by. All kinds of errors can creep in.

          Just my two cents...

I agree, as long as you have 100 at top and 100 at bottom with a 0 25 50 75 100 curve I dont see a problem. As Martin say's, I just use the 50 in 50 out rule. IMO its much more accurate than the painted marks on the gimbal.

did you remember the "hover pitch" function, that additional trim lever?

As gravityKills mentioned above. I had the same problem.. Discovered that the pitch and throttle trim were not centered.. (Thanks to a tip from Mr Jason Platts )..

mine lines dont line up but i got 100 at the top and 0 at the bottom so never worried bout it, i just use the 50 in 50

I just saw this thread in a google search because this has been bothering me.

I have two DX7s and the one I am currently flying with the left stick is out of calibration and has been that way since I got it.

When the stick is visually in the centre it reads about 46 in/out. I have never paid any attention to the little white marks to be honest I can just see that when the pitch curve shows 50 the left stick is a good 1/8 inch higher than the right stick and most importantly is the way it feels.

I have never used the hover pitch / throttle switches. Maybe this is an easy way to just bump the output around mid stick ?
