dx7 battery

I know it been covered before,Needing a recent post.

looking for a new battery for my dx7...

Dont want to go the lipo route..


Anyone got any suggestions apart from the standard nimh from spektrum

I did read of eneloop i think ages ago.

Any of the new low discharge NiMhs are good. LiFe is good as well, I don't know if that counts as a lipo to you. A Tx LiFe pack was available for £10. I'll post the link when I find it, unless someone else does.

When the time comes to replace the original DX7 NiMh I'll get one one these or one like it.

It has the right connector for the DX7.
Have to take it out of the Tx to charge it though, can't use the charge port on the Tx.

I already use these in my two Turnigy TGY 9Xs.
The connector isn't exactly the right one for the TGY 9X but it Does push onto two of the pins on the PCB connector.
I just have to remember to keep the black wire on the left.
