  • 8FG Awesome!!

Finally got my hands on an 8FG and all I can say is wow what a tx!

Easy to programme(so far!) excellent build quality and it feels like it will just 'work', if you know what I mean.

14 channels, 8 channel s-bus rx great bit of kit.

Not flown with it yet but it will be a joint maiden with my new Logo 600se hopefully this weekend.

    Cheers

Great Tx. Outstanding value for money.

Other people don't agree with you on build quality, but I don't see anything wrong with it.

I was advised early on in my flying to get this Tx and it was the best advice I have received.
Life's a bitch and then you fly!!

Once you get your head around the futaba way of programming (all a bit arse about face!), then its a great radio - I'm very happy with mine after abandoning Spektrum

I was all for this Tx, and after holding squeakypetes and having a good feel with a club mates I don't think I will be getting one, It just doesn't feel right in my hands being a pinch flyer - It feels much better if you're a thumbs flier tho!

I suppose I could try and get on with it, but I would find my fingers without breathing room between the switches. If the TX was just that bit bigger, I think I would have been onto a Winner.
"Anger and Frustration bring the best out of my flying ability.. because generally I don't give a shit either if the machine hit's the deck or stay's in the air - both will accomplish satisfaction, but most of all it exerts the feeling of flying conservatively. - Callum"

I'm a pincher - its perfect for me. The switches were a bit tight to get fingers in but actually work really well with fingertips.

Have a phoenix session with it Callum - 10 mins and you'll want one.
