  • DX7, How to enable Revlock with idle-up mode

OK, I'm probably just thinking 'inside the box' but I'm not sure how to do what I
think should be a simple thing.

I am using a DX7 and a Revlock10. At the moment I have the Revlock on the aux2 switch
and have settings on the switch so that in one position the Revlock is off and when the
switch is flipped it is active. The speed setting is done using the travel adjust on the
    aux 2 channel.

    What I would ideally like is this;

Normal mode - Revlock is off
Idle-up1 - Revlock is still off
    Idle-up2 - Revlock is active

But I do not see any way to change a switch position or change travel
adjusts automatically using the different flight modes. (right now I have to
flip the aux 2 switch manually to engage the Revlock, which is a hassle)

So how can I do this?

I don't have a DX7 any more, but it sounds like the bit you are missing is assigning the Aux2 channel to the flight mode switch rather than to its own switch?

You'd use the Gyro menu for the Gyro gain on the gear channel and all should be OK I think?

This may help : DX7 and Revlock 20 Governor - Page 1 - RunRyder RC Helicopter see the post by Paul Beard in that thread.

Give this a try I use Mix1 and Mix3 because on Mix 2 ive got my throttle cut and it only works this way around.

        Mix 1
        AUX2 > AUX2 ON
        RATE: -100%
        0%
        SW:F-NR
        OFFSET: 0

        MIX 3
        AUX2 > AUX2 OFF
        RATE: +62%
        0%
        SW: F-S12
        OFFSET: -100

Its worked for me the only other thing keep the throttle trim below halfway or the throttle can kick back in at high throttle on hold.

        hope it works for you.
        All the best
        Tony.
