i will also add that when it did go back to ripmax, it was due to my fault and not a faulty TX and it was back repaired with in 5 days for £28.00
where as Horizon were no help to me at all when i needed a new case for an AR9000, the reply i got was we dont keep them, we just wait for a faulty one to arrive and then use the case from it
we have run Futaba 9c's at the flying school for years and they are used for 6/8 hours everyday and believe me it takes a while to wear them out, can you imagine our repair bill if we used 6 DX8's
my 10 yr old 9c has just had some muck cleaned out of the elevator trim as it kept moving on me (it was some of the foam padding from my tx case)
and its had thousands of hours flying

i think we'll all be back on 35mhz soon

The best would be to chuck the lot in a blender to get
          .
          .
          .
          .
          .
          .
          .
          JR 11x Tx
          Spekky Prices
Futaba SBUS system (only recently learned how cool that is!)
(with Spekky model match to please some people )

But I am working on a brain implant that does away with these systems and use brainwaves to fly your chopper
