just slightly off topic, but I really like the 7 point curve system on the DSX9.
With 7 points, I split the curve into 3 segments - 1-3, 3-5 and 5-7
So in 3D curve - my upright hover point is bang on point 5, zero degrees at point 4 and inverted hover at point 3.
But in other curves (yes I use non 3D curves as well) I have zero degrees pitch at point 3 (not point 4 in the middle) with hover at point 5.
Now every flight mode hovers at point 5. It's difficult to put across the benefits of 7 points, but suffice it to say it's a lot harder to do this with a 5 point curve as you end up having to do more guess work in between points.
