  • DSMX Bind Query

    Good Evening All,

I have just attempted to bind my DX8 with an AR 6210 which is DSMX compliant. Following the bind, the two orange lights on the RX and the DSMX Satellite flick on and off. This occurs with both 11 and 22mS frame rate. The ON time is greater than 95% and the off time is, therefore, very short. The same TX/RX pair bind on DSM2 with no visible flickering. Anyone else noticed this type of behaviour? Regards and thanks for looking.

    Maurice.

Thank you for your reply. I have, subsequently, tried the same thing with a BNIB AR7610 DSMX 7 Channel High Speed Receiver, 11 mS frame rate with the same result. Yes sir, the frame rate setting, in the system setup menu, is, by default, set to 22mS DSMX and has been extensively switched in the last couple of hours or so. I will have a second TX available this morning to carry out the same tests again and, if I get the same result, a phone call to HH for some advice. If they bind "differently" then a phone call to HH to get one or the other back for checking. This TX is from the H0012LH batch and has already been returned to HH as software upgrade to version 2 could not be completely via the HH community forum link. Interesting !! Thanks again,

      Maurice.

Quick update - This phenomenon occurs with 6210, 7010, 7610 and 3 off 8000 RX's. All bind to my earlier DX8 system with no "oddball" flashing. Have just spoken with HH and, of course, it's back to them for checking. I spoke to 2 guys there and neither had come across this "feature" before, so parcel up over the weekend and give millerman a shout to get it collected. I guess HH will pay return carriage, just hope they can sort it. This system was returned from HH after having to send it in to get the 2.01 firmware upgrade patched in, as, unlike my first system, the HH customer portal would not permit the download for me to carry out the upgrade myself.
