  • Jr dsx9 or futaba 8fg

Looking to get a new tx in the near future, not sure what to go for, never seen any complaints on here about any of them, not like the dx8 witch I have and I don't trust it anymore.
    Opinions please

My choice would be the futaba. Great software and zero problems

My personal preference is for Futaba, although I plumped for the 10CG. I,ve owned a JR PCM9XII with a Spektrum module so this is very close to being a DX9 for a few years now and bought the 10CG shortly after it was released and haven't regretted it. I have a friend who has the 8FG and this has more functions than the 10CG and costs a good bit less but doesn't feel as good in the hand as my 10CG or PCM9XII, I'd suggest trying all the TX's in your hand before you decide which way to go.

Pick em both up and have a play, JR owners will say JR, and Futaba owners say Futaba! In my opinion they all do the same job but with slightly different bells and whistles. Only you can decide, and you'll know when you pick them up!

I've got a DSX 9 and love it.

The ONLY bad thing about the 8FG IMO is that it is fugly! Futaba all the way for me. I have the 10C and love it

JR are jumping to a new channel swapping system DMSS

Keep the DX8 and enjoy using it.

I love the Doom and Gloom on here.

Its a brave man that recommends a DX8 at the moment. Seems to be a bit of a lottery just now.

I think with the dx8 it is affecting a very few units.

I call it the align syndrome. Loads sold with only a few units having issues and i agree its worrying but we are only hearing about the handful of users that have had issues. What about the many of 00's or possibly 000's?? Of happy users on the forums that dont need to shout how good the unit is or the many many uk flyers that dont even use forums.
