Been using my Dx8 with various heli's and various receiver's with only a few minor issue's and so far so good. That was until I deceided to use a heli fitted with a AR7100R rev limiter. My old dx7 fly's it no problem but my dx8 keeps wanting to mix up the gyro gain and rev limiter values. Could someone who has done this succesfully, and I'm sure there are plenty who have, tell me the following please
What channel did you plug gyro gain into? gear or aux 2?
what settings did you use in the governor screen? I would normally have the flight mode switch linked to an increase in head speed. normal 65=1750 head speed,stunt 1: 72.5=1850 etc. hope that makes sense.
what settings do you use on the gyro screen? I would normally use the gyro switch to take the heli out of heading hold for set up only but tend to fly with all switches in their default postions and use the flight mode switch only until using hold to auto and trainer button to kill the engine.
Hope thats enough info and that someone can put me right as I'm sure its a simple error on my part. I've managed to work every other problem or issue out but this one managed to confuse me.
