Hi Folks
After a good suggestion from Steve (The Manager) and a total lack of flying this weekend (work and family stuff) I finally got round to removing the ratchet on my FF7.
Having reviewed the suggestions posted on this venerable forum, and a good bit of trial and error, I went for the 'fuel tube over the spring and a small bend method'.
The result is that I have a good amount of friction on the collective and also a means to return the TX back to its good old 'ratchet' self if I ever part with it.
Many thanks for all suggestions from the thread I posted in Jan 2006
Cheers
Mark
