  • Another DX8 software bug?

    Hi everyone,
after updating my DX8 I appear to have a problem with the lipo selection, or maybe its just me. If you go to telemetry, and select flight pack voltage, then lipo and set it to 6S. Next set Volts Min to 21.5V then exit that screen then go back in again and its changed to a 7S lipo so your low voltage alarm will now not work as the min voltage will have also changed to 18.0V.
Does it do this with anyone else or is it something I have missed?

    but no telemetry as yet

Does it with mine Kev but is it because you set the voltage too high.

It appears that if you set the min voltage to any more than 20.2v then lipo type changes to 7S. Surely this is too low for a 6S lipo I add my minimum voltage alarm set at 21.5v before which brought the packs down with 20% left.

Work on a min voltage of 3.2 volts per cell (or perhaps up to 3.4) - so a 6S pack would hit LVC at 19.2 volts (or 20.4 volts if working at 3.4 per cell).

3.7 is nominal voltage (50%) and 4.2 is full.
          Cheers,
