Excuse my ignorance, but why would you want to recalibrate the sticks, and what are the symptoms that suggests it needs doing?

                But why?

Have they always been way out, or has it just gone pear shaped recently?

                Why would this happen?

So might they go out again? If so when? Is this just a symptom of a more serious problem?

What was it that gave the game away?

How did you do it then Shaun? My 11x is wrong too and I can't be arsed to send it off if I can avoid it.

                        1. Begin with the transmitter off, and all switches towards the back of the radio.
                        2. Hold the trainer switch on right hand side of transmitter (some reports say throttle hold switch) forward.
                        3. Hold down the ENT button, and switch on the radio, entering the system menu. Release the ENT button.
                        4. Use the scroll wheel to select TRIM STEP, then click the scroll wheel to enter the TRIM STEP menu.
                        5. Use the scroll wheel to select aileron trim step.
                        6. Flip the aileron dual rate switch forwards, and press the scroll wheel to select ALI trim, flip the aileron dual rate switch back to the off position.
                        7. Repeat step 6 until the service menu appears.
                        8. Release the trainer switch.

                          Mine did the same Steve.

When thecollective was hovering over the mid stick mark on the gimbal the actual reference to pitch was 53%

Don't ask why but these things hop out of centre some time.!

                              Thanks Tim

It's good to know. I've had mine for 3 years or more now (can't rightly remember exactly when I got it) and it's been faultless from day one. I got it from Galaxy Models in Ipswich. A club mate of mine got one from another well known shop and it was faulty from day one. He gave it back and they replaced it with a new set which was also faulty from the start, with a different error to the first one. He didn't bother with the radio after that and has stuck with DX7 ever since.
