  • Futaba 7CAP and CSM revlock setup

I saw somewhere on the net a particular pilots setup for using a revlock 10/20 with a futaba 7CAP. I thought it was on the CSM website but I can’t find it.
This involved using ch 5 (gyro gain) for the revlock control, then somehow setting that up in the menus so you get a setting of that channel for each flight mode – so you get no governor in normal, 1700 say in idle up 1, 2000 say in idle up 2.
Then you use ch 7 for the gyro gain and set that to be operated by a 2 position switch.

How do I enable ch 5 (or ch 7) so its position is settable independently for the three flight modes?

In Parameters menu, you can specify which switches channel 5 and 7 should be assigned to.

i thought i wrote something about it on flyingaid but i cant find it!

what i do is use the radios gyro sense screen assigned to the idle up switch. this lets you get any speed you want in any flight mode which just assiging the channel the idle up switch wont do.

so, plug the remote channel into channel 5 of the RX then plug the gyro into channel 7 and go into the parameter screen on the radio and assign channel 7 to switch B and use the channel 7 end point adjustment to set your gyro gain.

      hope this helps
