dx7 problem

hi all. i need a bit of info. i have been setting up a foamy (plank) every thing was going well untill later after i had fitted everything the tx wont bind. i tried to bind with another model but it still wont bind anyone have any ideas.

I know its a simple question, but do you have the bind plug inserted into the Rx before attempting a bind?

i had everything working ,unpluged the bat. 1/2 hour later i wanted to check how much thrust i had ,it just would not bind then i tried another rx and another model but still nothing.

well it looks like it has stopped transmitting so I hope Horison hobby can do a quick turnaround.it works on the sim ok so maybe its just a new module thats needed.

Um... as u didnt mention if u did or didnt but....

Did you put the bind plug in? next you have to turn the model on... (the led's on the rx should be flashing fast!!).. and last of all you have to hold down the bind button on the back of the dx7 while turning it on (dont 4get to put all the sticks and switches in a safe failsafe postion!!) When the tx and rx have bound the rx led should be lit up solid. Wen this has happened turn the model off then the tx.. Now pull out the bind plug and all should be good!!!

If u follow this i dont fink u can go wrong!!!! hehe ~(hope so!!!!!)

not quite a novice the dx7 does not bind to any of my pre set models either. so how to bind is not the issue but the tx binding to the rx's is the problem

If you send it back this week, do it by courier, and ask them to return the same way, or you wont have it for weeks!

i had a module fitted to mine Brin. Total cost inc return postage was £40.00

just a thought...check that the antenna wire hasnt unplugged from the board...this happened to a mate of mine..just a thought

only around 2 months ago. They did have it for a long time though(around 7 weeks). They blamed superglue in the ariel socket.Which i later found out was my son being clumsy and not telling me he had glued it.
