Went flying on Thursday night, turned on the TX and set throttle hold to make the helii safe and put the tx down, plugged the power in to the ESC on the heli, set it down as normal. Picked the tx up and checked the operation of the servos.
All seemed OK until I went to check the pitch. The rotors started to turn, fortunately the ESC is set to soft start. I checked the TH switch a couple of times but it was the same. I noticed then that the model type was back to ACRO. I did a quick mod to make it heli again and the TH was working OK now. A quick waggle of the sticks looked kinda OK
Throttled up to light on the skids and checked the rudder. Wrong way round!!! So I shut the throttle and as the rotors were running down the heli lifted up and landed sideways on the training gear, tapping the blades on the ground. No damage fortunately.
It looks like the tx had lost settings on memory 1. I have moved it to memory 10 for now.
So is this memory issue well known and is there a fix?
