Who has fitted Rpm sensors for the Dx8?

    I have a few questions
    1. does the sensor need to be touching the backplate?
2.does it matter which way it faces(I see it will not fit where the piston comes down in to the backplate.
3.On a 91 does it need the heat sink on the backplate if so how do you mount the sensor?

    Picture would be great
    Cheers Paul

you need to remove the heat sink and you can mount it on 3 axis of the
back plate exept for the side with the lump sticking up you could have also saved yourself £10 buy buying the align gov sensor and mounting it as you would the gov sensor on the clutch bell it works the same but costs less

The only way is by removing the heat sink but would love to keep it.
